Q: Where can women over the age of 50 find strong, slender,
sexy men who are interested in them?
A: Try a bookstore under fiction.

Q: What can a man do while his wife is going through menopause?

live.

Q: How can you increase the heart rate of your 50+ year old
husband?
A: Tell him you're pregnant.

Q: How can you avoid spotting a wrinkle every time you walk by
a mirror?
A: The next time you're in front of a mirror, take off your
glasses.

Q: Why should 50+ year old people use valet parking?
A: Valets don't forget where they park your car.

Q: Is it common for 50+ year olds to have problems with short
term memory storage?
A: Storing memory is not a problem, retrieving it is!

Q: As people age, do they sleep more soundly?
A: Yes, but usually in the afternoon...

Q: Where do 50+ year olds look for fashionable glasses?
A: Their foreheads.

Q: What is the most common remark made by 50+ year olds when
they enter antique stores
A: "I remember these!"

And especially for those of us who just celebrated the 35th
anniversary of their 21st birthday.

Hmmm ... <considers> ... 21 wasn't all that great for me. Think i'll
be having the 15th anniversary of my 35th birthday. Yeah, like that
better. <wink>

That's the beauty of celebrating the anniversary of a particular
birthday, rather than growing older every year. You can stay
perpetually at an age that worked for you!

For me, the years 20 - 22 were painful but full of bright points that
have stayed with me forever. I learned that I do not have to
'put up' with bad behaviour on anyone's part - I have the strength to
call them on it and if need be cut them out of my life. I learned I
did not need to 'settle' for a cheating partner, because I was able to
be a happy and fulfilled single woman - and I even met the man who has
become the Love Of My Life although I wasn't looking for it and didn't
recognise it as more than a firm friendship at that stage of my life.
For the first time in my life I had friends, good friends who read and
studied and discussed Things. Friends who didn't rely on Soap Operas
and Harlequin/Mills and Boon Romance Novels as the Be All and End All
of entertainment! Many of them have stayed with me all the years that
followed even though we might not live in the same city any more we
are friends. Not too many of the few who 'tolerated' me in High
School can say the same!

So I continue to celebrate my 21st year in every single day of my
life. If it works for you, celebrate 35 forever. A friend of mine
celebrates 49 and has for years now because THAT is the year that
works for her.

Az The Perpetually 21.

As always a wise and thoughtful plan, Your Majesty.
