American Gods By Neil Gaiman.

Never ever read any of his books before. So not sure what to expect.
Based on Amazon reviews it seems like it could be good.

I've been reading Joe Haldeman lately. The first thing I read was The Forever War. Interesting plot twist. Points out
the obvious logical problems with time travel. Spaceships 200 years behind your technology just as likely as those 200
years ahead of you to appear out of nowhere. How do you prepare for this kind of combat?
