OK, I get that only about three people ever communicate with one another
in this group, and galactic physics problems are the norm... but here
goes anyway.

While reading "Burning Tower" (after reading "Burning City" when it was
out in hardback), I'm still trying to figure out the ideas behind the
whole Lords/Lordkin/kinless thing.

The only clue I've seen is that Jispomnos (anagram for O. J. Simpson)
was a Lordkin, and the kinless somehow were "conquered". Oh, and the
shape of the ears appears to vary by this attribute.

Is this some kind of race or class thing?

Never mind, it's all spelled out in Wikipedia, that "Flying Sorcerer"
stuff too...
