Just finished re-reading Fear Nothing - great book (although, yes,
Bobby's surfer-lingo talk is a bit irritating) and I found this!
At one point in the story, the Bobster is rambling thusly: "Six
billion of us walking the planet, six billion smaller ones on the
bigger one. Shoe salesmen and short-order cooks who look boring from
the outside - some have weirder lives than you".
A short-order cook who looks boring on the outside but who has a
weirder life than Chris Snow. I wonder who that would be, then?
(Apologies if someone's already found & posted this line from Bobby. I
did a search back through the group with Google, but couldn't find
it.)
Now I'm looking forward (kind of) to the next Odd book (Odd Hours?) to
find out if my Chris/Odd shared universe theory is validated!
All the best,
Alex >> Stay informed about: Another Chris/Odd connection?? |
