I am wondering I now have QuickBooks 2004 manufacturing and I love it. My
question is how secure is my customer credit card number in QuickBooks.
Beside password privilege in QuickBook my main concern, especially with all
the virus, adware, and Trojan horse out there can any hack get into
QuickBooks and tried to found out about those credit card numbers? Any
comments or tips will be appreciated. I just want to protect my customers
credit card number. Thank you

As long as your computers are on a NAT (network) and behind a reasonably
secure firewall you shouldn't be particularly concerned about quickbooks
being secure.

If somone is able to get access to your sensitive data in the first
place, you should have far greater concerns than whether any particular
aplication is safe or not.

IMO

In my experience and research, customer data and your inventory are more
vulnerable to employee theft. 50% of all employees have stolen from their
employer, and 50% of them will steal again.
