A couple years ago I ordered, through UK Amazon.com, "The Crow Road". At
the time I didn't about the "PAL" (as opposed to NTSC) format of
videotape.

So, what I bought and received was a PAL (Phase Alternating Line)
version. As far as I know a NTSC version is not available.

I had it copied and converted it to NTSC since I live in California and
there are very few 'PAL' players nearby!

Fine movie - well done. The book was excellent and the movie did it
justice, IMHO...

The videotape is 227 minutes long, approximately, "Suitable only for
persons of 15 years and over," in its original box.

Anyone interested? I've been hanging on to it because the box in which
it came is very nice to look at - but that's as far as I can take it.

What to do??? (remove notthispart. if you wish to email me).

Sadly, a copy's going for £2.00 on eBay so I don't think that route's
gonna make you a fortune! Sad

Mostly trying to give it away. Shipping costs might be more than what
someone could get it on ebay(?).

Anyone in San Diego wanna come by and pick it up? (heh).
ah well. Maybe my local library....
