I am trying the QODBC software to try and do better ad-hoc reporting from QB
2008. Does anyone know how to within QB or QODBC to take the Sales Summary
by Customer and add the custom fields from each Customer?

I can add fields to the detail reports but I cannot add the fields to
summary. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Yes, one minor one. Include the name of the program you wish to create the
report with.

Now thats what I'm talking about. Learn how to use Microsoft Query or wait
for some other poster to give detailed instructions on how to set up the
report in Excel.

The vendor that produces QODBC also has a report writer that may be better
suited to the task at hand. Also the use of Crystal Reports is another
report writer probably better suited to your needs. In either case I am
assuming that you have a high degree of tech know how and a lot of time on
your hands to gain the knowledge required.
