She's adorable!!
If mum has stopped nursing her because she has teeth, it's ok. Mums usually
know when to wean and then they can be taken away. Any advise I would give
is to be careful with her. Tiny doggies have tiny bones that break easily,
like jumping/falling from the sofa.
Enjoy!!

It's about 7 week, normally, but you can go here,
http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=2&cat=1651&articleid=887. for
more. But don't get frustrated with the housebreaking!

That's a really helpful site thanks PPPG,
In honesty when we talked about a dog I never envisioned adopting a puppy,
certainly not one half the size of the cat.

Thankfully I no longer have carpet anywhere Wink but yeah we're going to have
to sort out housetrainning, we only had her yesterday so not planned it out
yet.

My main worry is leaving her when we go to work. Seems cruel when she's
still so young and needy Sad I'm 6-3 and hubby 9-5 most of this week so he
can play with her after dropping me off and I'll make a fuss of her and
Ratbag when I get home. She's so cuddly though and a baby still I'm
thinking of warming a hot water bottle up I got one with a thick furry cover
so it would be comforting for her. Hopefully she'll settle ok, I'm going to
close some of the rooms so she's not going to have free reign and end up
hurting herself or stuck under the sofa with a dusty sock...

That's a good idea about the hot water bottle, I heard it said that if they
fret to place a ticking clock in their basket and it sounds like a
heartbeat.

Good luck

Make sure there are toys around. My late dog's favorite was one of those
big cheap balls you see in supermarkets. They are about the size of a
basket case, err, basketball and were too nig for her to get her mouth
around and too smooth to stay still where she tried to get it. It'd pop out
of her mouth and thus the chase began again. She could have stopped it, but
like when she'd wrestle and "bite" me, she didn't close her mouth enough to
do harm.

She's been crying a bit but we make a big fuss of her when we get home.

At them moment she's in love with the cat and keeps running to stare at
Ratbag in wonder - the cat is less impressed and wants everyone to know
Cookie makes him look clever! LOL

Biggest problem right now is the argument about whose bed is whose; Cookie
is rather enamoured with ours and the whole idea of cuddles but then gets
excited and pees, I'm happy with the cuddles don't mind pets on the bed as
long as they leave me room but very much against washing my bedding every
bloomin day. Gonna try and buy a blanket or pillow that she can have in her
bed that'll go over her head - she likes quilt caves.
