I have read that DT VI is going to be about 450 pages long. Has anybody
heard how long DT VII: The Dark Tower will be?? I hope long because I know
that the 450 pages of "Song of Susannah" will not be able to answer all of
my questions. I am really interested and excited about how the quest ends
but I really want to know more and all about what happened before Tull and
DT I. I starting to think that I need a novel greater than "It" or the "The
Stand" to answer all my questions.......

Waiting for Bev . . . .

<Hmmmm, hmmm, hmmmm>

Oh, well, I heard the last book is going to be quite short by DT
standards. Bev will KNOW though.

Have a great day!

I heard the about same thing, but that might be manuscript pages.
Hopefully not, though.

Here's a quote from Bev:

"Two are quite long and one is fairly short. The longest of the three is
not as long as Wizard and Glass. A total of about 2500 pages of
manuscript (W&G was 1400 pages in manuscript). The final book (The Dark
Tower) is the longest of the three. Subject to change on rewrites, of
course."

Indications are that the last book is not quite short.

DT7 is the longest of the final three books in manuscript. It's about twice
as long as DT6 in MS. As someone else quoted me, I'm estimating 800+ pages.
I thought DT6 would be 400 pages and it's a tad longer than that so it might
be as much as 850.
