ok, that should be enough.

I think the book should have ended just after the 2nd part...the 3rd part
was superfluous and well the last 10 pages just utter rubbish.

I had just finished re-reading Dark Rivers of the Heart and immediately
started this book... it took me one day to read (holidays, what can I say.
In this heat I'm not running around much!) and whilst it wasn't up there
with his best, it was certainly a LOT better than the OT and LE books!

Some of the themes running through the book were hard to swallow - the 'six
degrees of separation' idea was a tad over-stretched, but I guess it worked
sorta.

the deaths at the end were very disappointing and evil just didn't get the
decent comuppance I expected. Especially as it immediately followed reading
DRotH.

overall, I thank you Fred for posting it to me.

PS Pauline, have done an upgrade and lost your email - also yours Linda -
can you please email me at home addy? It also means I lost your postal

No spoiler space needed, but I 100% agree!
