I'm going up on Thursday for Thanksgiving, because my m-i-l just
uninvited me from the family celebration. Whee... Wink

I called the hotel today; they had a few rooms left (none in the D-con
block) so I booked a single. The rate is markedly higher, so the nice
young man in Reservations suggested I call and leave a message with
Sales to ask about a wait-list. A nice woman named Roxanne called
back later to tell me she had upgraded me to the Darkovercon rate of
89.00 a night! That just made my day!

So I'll be there from about mid-day Thursday until Sunday noon. Yay!

I'll be arriving on Friday (get into BWI at about 12:30) and leaving
Monday.

I'm looking for a ride from the airport to the hotel on Friday if
anyone's got any ideas. (Usually I rent a car but want to cut down on
expenses this year.) I'm assuming it won't be that difficult finding a
ride /to/ BWI Monday AM.... usually several people who stay Sunday
night are headed that way on Monday.

There are airport shuttle buses available at BWI down by the baggage
claims. I generally take Blue Van to the Timmonium Holiday Inn. Not
cheap, but cheaper than a rental car for three days.
