So uh yeah, it's me.

I know you were concerned but despite many harrowing occurances too
frightening andor classified to recount I am alive! You can now get
on with the rest of your life secure in the knowlege that I'm back and
posting Death Lists again. There may even be additional ones before
the next Ice Age, *maybe* .

And now, due to the outrageous levels of anticipation I'll proceed
straight to the spoiler space. One may add witticisims at a future
date...

All done. So enough with the blanks, lets fire some death. BANG!

Definitely died - on page

a rat - killed by trap to save from a lingering death by poison.
(pg 94)
Hamnpork - died (pg 189)
King of Rats - killed by Maurice (pg 217)
Dangerous Beans - died (pg 219)
Maurice - (pg 219, 221) - died from wounds, gave up a life to save
Dangerous Beans

Definitely died - off page (ie referred to by someone)

Farmhouse - forgot how to disengage the tripcatch on a Snippet and
Polson Ratsnapper Number 5. (pg 52)
Fresh - died of squashing. (pg 83,8Cool
Additives - eaten by Maurice (pg 143)
Maurice - 4 lives used up before. Run over by a cart only last month
(pg 221)

Death toll?

Soldiers. Governments pay them, they have wars. (pg 11)
Members of the Trap Disposal Squad. You *could* join the squad if you
were fast and slapdash and hasty. You just didn't last very long. (pg
51) The more careful had some fatalities over the years too.
The rats in Scrote. Ran into a poison with sparkly blue bits. It had
only been a matter of time, a matter of horrible time. (pg 93-94)

Yeah I know, what really took so long. That would be an ecumenical
matter. Tis done now. Pick this one to pieces... or not. Y'know it's
not like I get *paid* for this.

it would help if you mentioned whether you were referring to the paperback
page numbers or the hardback page numbers... and also which version... The
original English edition, or the American edition...<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Doh! Yes indeed. I am *so* out of practice. One does appologise. It
was much less inconvenient in the old days. Now let me see...

It seems to be the original UK Doubleday H/C version. But for simpler
conversion methods it contains 270 pages.

Large numbers of unidentified rats caged by the ratcatchers.
Some rats in the dog ring.

Ah I was wondering if that would come up. Those have been left out due
to my rather ruthless "those are not talky rats" selection criteria.
Is why I've left, with a few exceptions, regular animals out of
previous lists.
