Does near-death count? Vimes had a near-death experience (and Death had a
near-Vimes experience).
Also, it wasn't clearly stated what Chrysoprase did with the troll who
threatened Vimes' family. Was he killed or not? >> Stay informed about: [R] Death List 34.0b (?) - Thud |

[...] (snipped death counts)
These death counts are interesting ... it seems that Watch books are
getting pregressively bloodier.
I am curious, has anyone done a Vimes kill count? It seems to me that Sam
is practically turning into a killing machine... (O.K. that's a bit of
hyperbole
but later books seem to have him killing more villains than earlier books -
not to say the villains don't deserve it) >> Stay informed about: [R] Death List 34.0b (?) - Thud |

Sort of. I've tended to use the on page section to also include deaths
that while we didn't witness them, their bodies were found on page.
Rather than a comment about how wossname had died.
That having been said, that should put Bloodaxe and Diamond up into
this category. Since otherwise it's a tad inconsistent.
>Otherwise a sterling job, as usual.
Thank you kindly.

Hmm interesting point. I shall consider this.

You're quite right. And I'm sure I had that written down in my dead
tree notes. I believe I was going with "Might have died".

Should we include Methodia Rascal in this list? The painting and all those
chicken related notes were found after his death, possibly at the hands of
the invisible chicken. Or perhaps it was just madness.

We certainly should. His tragic passing should not have been excluded
in such a callous manner.
