Errors in Merrick, and New Orleans Questions

Hi Amanda,

I don't think a closed mind'll be a problem... I mean, I spend a few days a
month in Amsterdam and we have pretty quirky people out there. Actually I
guess I am one of the quirky ones. Kinda comes with writing: there is no
author/journalist/columnist alive who is "normal". If there is, I haven't
met him/her. And I think I can do "laid back", maybe Jeremy'll have to slow
me down every now and again though... When I get in gear for my "touristy
stuff shopping spree" I'm kinda hard to keep up with;) But I think it should
be fine. I'm expecting weathered beauty for a large part,
basically...Peeling paint and such. There's enough of that in Europe for me
to be used to it, AND be able to look past it.

Yes, Jo, I think it is the closest thing to a European city here in the U.S.
