(Let's forget that I misspelt "Gambit" in the header for the original
version of this news item, okay? Otherwise, I'm going to have to go
to Mephisto and have him take away all of your *good* X-Books.)

I'd be better about Friday Night Lights having its season cut short
and fate up in the air if Aimee Teegarden were cast as Illyana in, oh,
X-Men 4 (as opposed to a Wolvie movie), which yes, I would prefer were
directed by FNL's Peter Berg.

Here's the news . . ..

X-Men Marks the Spot for Friday Night Lights Hunk

As X-Men Origins: Wolverine kicks off filming in Oz this month, the
flick has added Friday Night Lights hottie Taylor Kitsch to the cast.
He'll be playing Gambit, to the delight of us Kitsch lovers (and FNL
die-hards).

Along with Kitsch, the X-Men spinoff has also added a few other
notables to its roster of thesps. Hip-hopper will.i.am has signed on,
as have Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston and Lynn Collins as,
respectively, Sabretooth, William Stryker and Silver Fox. Hugh Jackman
will be back, of course in the title role. — Anna Dimond

LORELAI: I am so done with plans. I am never, ever making one again.
It never works. I spend the day obsessing over why it didn't work
and what I could've done differently. I'm analyzing all my shortcomings
when all I really need to be doing is vowing to never, ever make a plan
ever again, which I'm doing now, having once again been the innocent
victim of my own stupid plans. God, I need some coffee.

Add Ryan Reynolds (DEADPOOL) and Will.i.am (WRAITH) to the expanding
list of likely if not certain cast members.
Sounds likea trip back to Weapon X big time.
