Yes, collaboration can be tricky - great though if a writer has the
temperament or when two writers find that their styles somehow mesh.
The Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child books (Relic, etc.) are good
examples IMO of when it works well. James Patterson/Andrew Gross is
another partnership that seems to have worked well. Maybe DK's current
style is just a bit too quirky for it to go well with others'? Oh
well... It will be interesting to read this, eventually..
