Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
I had a good meal with family and friend. Good food, good conversation.
(Some topics of conversation: when exactly Darfur started going downhill,
assisted suicide, whether the US gov't gives more charitable aid than
others [answer: depends on how you count], etc.)
On the downside, my newly installed heating/cooling unit, while effective
at cooling all summer, turns out to not be so good at heating. Would
probably be fine... if it turned on. But it isn't turning on. Making
clicky noises, but that's all. I shoulda tested the heater before a holiday...
Here's hoping the heating/ac company that installed it is open tomorrow.
(Fortunately, it is not too cold, yet.)
