This auction is for a small hardcover book with cloth covers called Home To
Him's Muvver by Margaret Prescott Montague. It has an inscription dated 1918
but could be from 1916 & a 1st edition. It was published by E.P. Dutton &
Company (New York) & is 23 pages in length. I found the following
description of the book: "This work came from the well known collection of
the Bayard family in Delaware. They have played a prominent role in American
public affairs since the 1600's. They are related by marriage to the Dodd
family of Dodd Mead & Company Publishers." The book is a decent solid copy
in good to very good condition with light cover wear, the interior is
starting to pull away from the covers, & 3 interior pages that have small
fingertip sized edge chips out.
