Honorverse design shift?

Hello. This is my first post here, to bear with any newbishness.

With the intruduction of the various (P)-classes within the Honorverse,
as well as the increasing volume of missiles carried by LACs like the
Shrike, is it possible that we may see a change in the way ships are
designed? Considering the missile-saturated environments present in the
past few novels, I believe that tit is quite possible that the energy
duel is a thing of the past. Since the number of missiles that can be
dlivered in a single engagement is now far, far greater than it has
ever been, the enegry weapon is practically obsolete in the current
battlefield environment.

So, I you think that we will see a trend towards larger combatants (CA
and up) now carry only a tiny handful of energy weaponsm with the rest
of the braodside and chaser space being packed with more missiles and
anti-missile weapons instead. Considering how rarely energy weapons
were used even before the (P)-classes of warships, I think we may see
their use disappear entirely from combat.
