I think he more means how the field of robotics was effected by Isaac
Asimov's writings.

So, how did, say, the Three Laws affect the creation of robots after their
introduction.

I'd say that he put a lot of stress on those who create robots, giving the
public views on robots, increasing demand for them when it wasn't possible
at the time to be anything like the positronics.

Pah.

It's not for a school paper.
I'm arguing with a friend that doesnt aknowledge the idea of the
importance the good Dr. had in robotics. Not in a cientific way, of
course...
But I'm defending (and I know) that his impact in robotics (social,
spreading info, politics, etc) was great.
At least he was inspiring for many future science students.
This friend of mine is a physic, so this guys (not all) tend to
undermine everybody that's not connected, in some way, to sciences.
I'm just looking for weapons to attack his arguments...
Thanks everybody anyway<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Well, in that case, he created the term "robotics", in the first place...
