Well since it only looks a bit like celery, but apparently is not
closely related, I think they doubt think much of it.

The first one that tried it accidentally ate the leaves as well and died
from the oxcalic acid. As he died he told all the other treecats to stay
away from the rhubarb. They haven't touched it since.
