I hadn't even noticed that. Sounds like a conflation of "at last i'll
be able to look myself in the mirror" and "at least i'll be able to
sleep at night". >> Stay informed about: Too Much Information... |

Well, with the proper cloning technology I guess you could...

At this way I'll be able to live with myself...

Yaknow, it occurs to me that one thing we haven't seen in the Honor
Harrington books is a dream sequence. I'd be vaguely interested in
seeing what some of the characters dream about.

There was one at the start of "Shadow of Saganami," and it was
apparently a straightforward informative flashback of real events.
(Unless I've misunderstood you and you're not counting that as a main
sequence HH book) >> Stay informed about: Too Much Information... |

LOL, that reminds me of some of the dream sequences on Babylon 5.
Commander Ivonova had one where she showed up at Command and Control...
"totally unprepared for my duties."
"Well, at least you weren't naked. You'd REALLY have some psychological
problems then!"
But yeah, I was thinking of the more cerebral type of dream sequence,
though Shadow of Saganami was one that I hadn't remembered.

In my own scribble I try to modify sayings. Sayings sometimes change and
using the old ones all the time seems wrong. >> Stay informed about: Too Much Information... |
