Yes, I do remember reading that. I just didn't think it would be Roland or
part of his Ka-tet. I was thinking it would be more like the child in the
book where Johnny saved him from the crazy politician. Did that child grow
up to save someone important? Do you remember if that child grew up and is
now incorporated into the DT series? There are so many little things like
that in his stand alone novels that I wonder if they were just meant as
teasers.
