This reminds me of a .... performance..... at the recent filk
convention.

ends up in Rivendell and mistaken for Gandalf.

I came across a post on a similar theme, which was fun reading. It was a
thread on "the arctic elves" from 1998. Google aft for "lockwood annatar
sauron children".

many of the elves at rivendell *were* fugitive keeblereldar. it is
believed that they have the credit of composing rivendell's great
national hymn, "tra-la-la-lally."

3-in-1 LotR edition - I bought the recent Houghton 3-in-1 but many text lines were smeared and some pages were printed crooked. Also the page with the ring writing had the wrong font in the wrong places. They don't make things like they used to, huh.
