Uh, mostly, I guess. At least he wasn't portrayed as a terrifying
invincible cyborg socialist.
The last I noticed, official information about Fidel's anus and his
health in general was declared a state secret, which, honestly, to me
just looks like natural politeness.
It was on _The Daily Show_ as an alleged, um, leak.
You pretty much have to put Castro in; if you just google "artificial
anus", he does show up amongst the other results, but, oh my.
Apparently, colostomy and using your own body material for
reconstruction are techniques that also may be described using the
words "artificial anus" as part of the story. But the story was or is
that he actually has machinery back there. >> Stay informed about: Organ Banks |

Yup, it's superior in every respect to your original one, and contains
your gonads, so you can even breed, ultimately.

Not freezing - but certainly dissection by utility fog which can move
quickly and flexibly enough to handle any involuntary movement your
anaesthetised body might make. Your blood has already been replaced by
this point,and your heart stopped.

As I mentioned, your brain and gonads are moved to your new body, so no
copying required.

It is clearly an invasion by the Cybermen and I'd have already joined

There Will be Dragons by John Ringo had something like this as an
optional "upgrade" that one could take. This went rather poorly for the
girl that had upgraded, when the power that was running the utility fog
was diverted to deal with a sort of a civil war...
