Well depending on where you are in world, you may know that the state
funeral of Sir Edmund Hillary will be starting in just over an hour.
This will be a televised event that will stop the nation, and I'm
pretty sure that coverage will be thrown up on the local TV web sites
(www.tvnz.co.nz,
www.tv3.co.nz).
The reason I'm posting here is that the last time I saw Sir Ed was at
the launch of Rage, where Sir Ed was the keynote speaker and did Ray's
introduction. It was a great to see both Sir Ed and Ray in the flesh
and get some of my questions answered (like where he got the idea for
Nakor). He will be sorely missed.
It was also the same night that Gran Turismo hit the shelves and I was
up till 4am reading Rage and racing Hondas.
