I've got the paperback version of Stone and
Anvil, and managed to snag a hardback copy
via paperbackswap.com.

The sender noted that the cover says the
hardback comes with a CD-ROM, but since
she got the book second-hand, it did not
have the CD with it. She was just giving
me a friendly heads-up before she mailed
me the book.

My question is: was the CD-ROM (16 New
Frontier "adventures") audio or text?
And do these "adventures" appear anywhere
else, as in another NF book?

TIA.

Nyssa, who has a stack of NF books to read
but there's always room for one more

The CD-ROM contains the text (not audio)
of all the previous "New Frontier" books.

Ah! Thanks for the info!

So I'm not missing anything by not getting
the CD-ROM with the book since I already have
(I think) all of the previous books in the
series.

Somehow I don't think I'd want to sit at the
computer and try to read that much stuff anyway.
I about fuzzed up my eyes just trying to get
through a 119-page PDF book recently. lol

Nyssa, who doesn't need fuzz on her eyes
