Yep, no biggie.

Went to the doctors yesterday for the follow-up. Need to go back in another
month. I have a drop of oil stuck behind my retina and my retina is no
longer flat as it should be. It has a wrinkle. Doc said I also have a
small cataract forming. When I go back next month they will see what may
need to be done if anything at all except take care of the cataract. The
resulting vision in my right eye is crooked double vision. When using only
that eye I see everything normal and then in the lower left field of vision
I see the same image again slightly distorted. In effect like 2-D vision.
You ain't lived til you see Judge Judy 3 times in your head and one of those
times she's sitting at her bench in my fricken living room yelling at me!!
All in all he said it could be another 6 months before they know or decide
to do anything. In the meantime I should patch my eye for driving and when
the vision distracts me.

The scary part is when they remove the cataract I have an over 70% chance of
going through this all over again! Meaning my retina could detach. Oh
well, not going to worry about it now, after all, the Doc did say that I was
very fortunate to get any vision back at all with all the problems I just
went through.

I once woke up in the middle of the night from a very sound sleep and
saw the disembodied head of Colonel Sanders floating down the hall
toward me. I panicked and knocked the KFC drink cup off of my nightstand!

Yes, I guess you're really lucky. Doesn't a cataract have to get really bad
before they take them off? I have one starting and the doctor told me it
would be a while before it got "ripe" enough to remove.

The last time Colonel Sanders was seen, he was being chased down the
street
by a bunch of chickens, yelling "Get him, he's finger licking good".
