I'm not saying that it isn't the novel of Vonnegut's that's most likely
to make a decent movie, but considering that some of the characters,
themes, and events appear in other fiction by KV, in what sense does
it not have the "distinct Vonnegut voice"? (As it happens, I think that
if done correctly, _The Sirens of Titan_ would make a good movie, because
it strikes me as being the most visual of Vonnegut's novels, well, except
maybe for _Bluebeard_.)

Wow. It's Richard, a person I recognize from the movie groups.

Well, about that voice I'm talking about. Yes, the themes are sort of
the same, but that novel didn't have the simplistic and direct way of
his more famous novels have. His later novels have a voice you can
almost HEAR, with the author himself part of it. In SIRENS OF TITAN,
the plot is, like you said, more visual. And that's how it's different.
