Hi

Is "The Vision" a Koontz I haven't read? What is it about.

Odd, I just looked at my collection and I don't have that one. It sounds
familiar to me, though. Hmmmm...I'll have to do more checking. I see it in
the line-up of his books, but I can't imagine where my copy is.

After checking it out, I have read it....I'm thinking my sis-in-law (black
hole of my library) must have it...she's constantly losing my books!!!
Still, I'll give my shelves another look as I am very particular about my
Koontz/King/Rice/Straub books, they ARE very crowded.

I seem to remember this one vaguely, and the image of flying seagulls
occurs to me, for some reason... Or is that some other book?

Definitely due for a re-read!

All the best,
Alex

Here's some info from my paperback copy.
c. 1977

First line:
Gloves of blood.

Blurb:
Don't close your eyes.
He's watching you. He knows what you're doing. He knows what you're
thinking. He's coming after you.

Don't close your eyes.
He has a knife. The steel blade gleams. Whenever you close your eyes,
you can see it-the tip of his knife, pointing at your chest.

Don't close your eyes.
He's closing them for you.

Jim O

I wonder how long it would take to get it to Pauline?

That sounds like the Woman doctor, that has 'fugues'. Must have been
renamed for here.

Thanks

That would be Ginger, can't remember her last name. She's another

Yep; but now her name is bugging me! Keep thinking Ginger Weiss but isn't
Ginger the other character in Strangers with the daughter know she was
something spelt cute Ginja, Jorgie, Jorja....now you've got both names
bugging me and I can't reach my copy of the book grrr LOL

She's doing fine I'm off to see her 21st April and I'm ever so excited -
though not looking forward to the travelling!

Ginger Weiss (not sure of spelling) wins the prize, Jorja has the daughter.

Not long now till you will be in the civilised part of the world.

Just get a good book, drink lots or water, little alcohol and try to sleep.
Having said that I have only flown as far as Hawaii (10 hours).

Bet she is looking forward to seeing you, it will be chilly that time of
year, especially NZ. Cold for us, not for UK types.
