None of the bookstores in my area had it today. I am pissed, because I have
4 straight 12 hour shifts to finish out the week.

Don't these publishers yet know that they need to consult with me on these
things, to make my life more convenient?

Saw it in Minotaur in Melbourne yesterday. At almost $50 I'll wait
until I can pick it up for more like $30 from some other store next
week.

What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Fantastic work as usual Mr
Feist, my only complaint is there is now 1 less book before the
timeline reaches its world changing event. ^^

Where do you read April? I've ordered at Amazon.de as well and the
order status page is says it's going to be shipping in the timeframe
from 11th to 18th of March (hardcover).

So, after a nightmarish week and a Saturday of 12-hr work days I happily
strolled into the local B&N, to purchase the next tome in my all-time
favorite fantasy series, as I had read in this NG that it was out and
available.

Why didn't anyone tell me that it is out two weeks later in the U.S.? It was
like telling a 5-yr old that Santa doesn't exist or that the Easter Bunny
makes good eating.

Frankly I don't know. Since I recieved this mail yesterday it is highly
unlikely that I really read April somewhere Wink

(for all your non german speakers, that is the confirmation that the
book is on it's way to me)

A fantastic return to form for Mr Feist. Some of his recent books have
been a bit, well, substandard compared to his earlier stuff. This book is
a great read, gripping in a way that I've not had since the Serpentwar
books and a real treat to read.

Full of substance, worked characters, properly timed plots and an
accelerating storyline that really annoys* at 2am when I have to be awake
at 6am to get to an important meeting.

I know Raymond reads this ng occasionally, so a big public thank you and
keep it up!

* in a good way
