Books to read, and shelves to fill,
Ray's great books, just fit the bill.

Thanks for the kind words. I've been offline for a few days due to a
move and change of ISP. I hope you'll find the next five, that end the
Riftwar Cycle, more to your liking than the last few.

Best, R.E.F.

The way I have read everything, I have never truly believed that there could
be an "end" to the Riftwar, unless you describe just the end of that era.
Likewise, I don't see it beginning with Pug either, in "Magician", but
rather something that has been a low-level simmer for hundreds and thousands
of years, with periodic flare-ups, with just the cast members changing. For
example, was Leso Varen waiting for Pug, so that he could start all his
schemes? No. What about the Dark Temple and the Order of the Pearl, some of
the origins or adventures of Macros, before Pug? There are many more stories
to be told, if you ever want to do it. And I am certainly not the only one
that hopes to see them.

Just finished it. What can I say Ray ? Superb maybe that'll do for a
start.

So, I finally was able to read it and it was a blast.
As allways many revelations where new and some where somehow obvious to me.

Spoilers following:

..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
Of course I liked the fact that there was a character named Stefan in
there, even though he was just a minor one. But he did NOT die which has
to count for something.

That Nakor was somehow controlled by Banath/Kalkin was somehow obvious
for a time but only occoured to me at that start of Wrath.

The big changes with Kelewan beeing destroyed was something I did NOT
expect. Yes, Krondor was destroyed as well and was a big part of series
before that but you cannot rebuild a whole planet.

Can't wait for the next parts, since this book feels a bit like and
ending but I know there still is some undercurrent to it all.
