Post subject: From the bottom of the Box
Archived from groups: rec>collecting>books (more info?)

At the start of January, I bought several boxes of books, sight unseen, for a
very modest amount. I had just barely looked through one of the boxes at the
time, finding auction catalogues on various specialized collections - Sherlock
Holmes, Fielding, Robert Penn Warren, African-American literature, the civil
war, etc. And I stopped looking. Yesterday, I went back to the box and was
happily surprised to find under all of these items an ex-library copy of "The
Cats of Wildcat HIll" by Charis Wilson (text) and Edward Weston (photos),
(Duell, Sloan & Pearce, 1st printing, 1947). The only real defect is the
library binding.
