There's no chance, sorry to say. The nature of the game business, as
well as some very entangled rights issues, make it impossible. It's one
of the reasons I wrote the novelization, even though I usually don't
care for those. I just wanted the story to be part of the legacy of the
game.
Perhaps I shouldn't say "never," but in all likelihood, probably never.
Best, R.E.F.

Oh yeah.
I did read the magicians trilogy, loved it. Well, I always like books
(or series) that take the characters from their childhood and you can
see how they gradually become what they end up being. >> Stay informed about: [crosspost] Return to Krondor soundtrack |

Hi Ray
I guess you are talking about GameTap (www.gametap.com). Unfortunatly
there the game is in english. I'm still looking for a way to get my wife
to play this great game, because she is also a great fan of yours.

Hmmm, might have to hit the torrent sites and look for RtK. I had a go at
BaK a while back but found it too arduous a task to get an environment it
would run under going on.
I think Sierra did a good job with their "Hellfire" add-on for Blizzard's
"Diablo" and I've heard good things about RtK.

I'd sure as hell buy it again.
A story set in one of my favorite worlds, first person movement and
isometric turn based battle mode - it just doesn't get any better.

John,
Mr. Feist has been on Usenet for years, and is known to offer some of the
sagest pigskin wisdom you'll find anywhere. I'm sure this
RPG/fantasy-authoring stuff is just some kind of part-time hobby he has.

I agree with that.
Following the adventures of Feist's characters is very enjoyable. As well as
for example in Eddings series The Belgariad or The Malloreon or Lackey
novels about Valdemar.

I'm pretty sure that I got my copy of the soundtrack from
http://www.synsoniq.de/index.php, as their site looks very familiar
and I know that I ordered it from a German site. However, they don't
seem to have it for sale any more BUT it might be worth trying to get
in touch and seeing if they have one or two orphan copies lying
around?
I agree that the music for this game is amazing - it is one of my
favourite soundtracks.

Hmmm. I rate the Riftwar saga several notches higher than the
Belgariad or the Malloreon. I liked all the Riftwar/Serpentwar books
(plus the out-takes - King's Buccaneer etc.), but my personal
favourite is the Daughter/Servant/Mistress of the Empire series -
fantastic. I don't think I've read the latest series (Darkwar), or the
one in between (Conclave wotsit). Always nice to have something to
look forward to (speaking of which, I think there's a new Banks
out ...)

Oh, no doubt about the game's outstanding quality
I was just afraid I was missing some plot element that could explain the
matter...

I just got off the phone with Chuck Mitchell and there may be some
issues with his web mail. Try "chuck@voiceofthearts.com" and see if
that gets through and he'll take care of you. He says he still has
copies of the sound track and was glad to hear people still like them.
