A little earlier than normal, but I wanted to get it out for Worldcon
so only eight pages this time but still 5500+ words. The Player of
Games gets the 'book biography' treatment, and the story of the film of
the book is covered. Media Scanner does it usual job of trawling the
recent media coverage of Iain, and Banks in Translation goes on holiday
to Spain. The paperback publication of The Algebraist in the UK is
covered with a report on the publicity tour, and the new book covers
are discussed.
