No, but my brother does. He tried to declare bankruptcy to get out of
his judgment, but FL law states since it's based to fraud, it can't be
dismissed. He screwed himself, too. By filing, another family member
became PO'ed: _Uncle Sam_. The IRS showed up demanding to know why he
hadn't paid taxes in SIX years! opps

Scott - that may be a conscious choice so they aren't completely in their
kids lives. I know a lot of my friends 'de-friend' their own children once
they turn 18 because they don't WANT to know how often they are drunk or see
drunk/sexed up photos etc.

I know I certainly don't. Since my kids have grown up I find the less I
know about their everyday lives the better.
