Philip K Dick was in half-life?

I have recently noticed the following note in Gollancz editions of PKD in
the UK:

"The right of Philip K. Dick to be identified as the author of this work
has been assorted by him in accordance with the Copyright, Design and
Patents Act 1988."

Basically 6 years after his death Philip K. Dick asserted his right!
