Well it's got me right downtown within walking distance of work, which
while it would be convenient in many ways, is quite inaccurate. I
wonder if I can move it or not,.....nope, it doesn't appear to let me.
Oh well, it's not as if I can't direct any visitors more accurately if
they tell me they're coming! Smile

Funny thing is that, until you zoom in enough, it doesn't have London,
it has me as being in Hamilton....ummm not quite! And you have to
really zoom in far to find Windsor (across Detroit river from Detroit)
while it shows smaller towns around the area much sooner in the zoom.
Weird.

Ree.

You are aware that this has the potential to be as bad as Vicki Jean's
original 'where are you' thread back in 1994, right? Anyways, if you wnat
to pin me, pick Phoenix AZ. Lessee, look at the right angle formed by the
state 143 branching off the state 202 (on the distant zoom, a knot of
freeways which I-10 enters heading east and exits heading south). If you
zoom in till you can see the corner of 38th street and Taylor, that's about
as precise as you can get (my home for the last 37+ years is the third from
the corner on the south side).

We're getting the California rain today (stepped down of course).

You can place me on the Kennedy Space Center in FL. Not exact but close
enough for government purposes. Smile

There's a way to let others edit the map, but it would require me giving
your email addresses to Google to sell *cough*cough*, I mean use. Wink I
can adjust you if you'd like. I figured that most people wouldn't want
the map to be quite so accurate. *G*

Well I'm on Arbour Glen Crescent which is as specific as the map seems
to allow. It just feels weird having it say I live on a little street
called Cleve that I've never even heard of! Razz

Ree, consider the perspective on your location most of us have. "In that
chilly area near the big lakes" is probably accurate enough. :>

(Chilly at the moment, anyway. When John and Mummy Az are cold, you'll be
warm.)

I can be located ... Hmmm, how do I get latitude/longitude out of this
thing? Ok, call it Turlock, California, at the intersection of Ansel Adams
Blvd and Cowell Rd. That's a short hike across a parking lot to my office
-- not that I'd recommend making that hike while school is in session.
Students running late to class are not necessarily the safest drivers.

You can use my gmail address, they already have that. Smile

The pin really is close enough; if anyone really has some strange desire
to actually visit me, I will give better directions.

Delete the phrase "running late to class" and it's still true.

Agh. More reassuring to me to think they're only dangerous when running
late... that way, if I arrive early enough, I'll avoid the danger. If the
danger is all the time, I can't save myself. :>
