Sorry about the delay in responding, but I had religious obligations
which kept me away for a while. And then ... I was reluctant to take
this up again. But ...

I missed the Staff meeting, but the Memos showed that Brian McDonald

You are indoctrinating them in what you feel is the right way. You
say you are merely instilling in them a code of conduct, but I say
you're indoctrinating them.
Meanwhile, my "trying to instill a code of conduct in them that
will let them live successfully in modern society." seems to fill you
with horror that I'm indoctrinating them.

I believe the conjugating of the verb "pedagogy" is:
I train my children in the Truth.
You teach your children whatever it is you believe.
They are indoctrinating their children.

Which is it? You seem to have an altitude against the religious.
Are you going to retain that attitude toward religious people, or are
you going to extend to them the same tolerance that you demand?

Because it does appear that you are as adamant about your
non-religion in a manner little distinguishable from that of the worse
fundamentalist or literalist. And with just as much arrogance.
